Star Trek: The New Voyages
Star Trek: The New Voyages was an interesting experiment -- a "professional" book published by Bantam Books but featuring a series of Star Trek stories written by fans. The first volume featured a forward by Gene Roddenberry and story introductions from Shatner, Nimoy, Kelley, Doohan, Takei, Nichols, and Majel Barrett-Roddenberry.
